Hello everyone,

On behalf of the Makerere University Endowment Fund, I would like to extend our deepest gratitude to all those who participated in the #MakRun2024. Your incredible support, whether by running, donating, or spreading the word, has made a tremendous difference. 

We are pleased to share that, together, we raised UGX 60 million, which will be used to equip the Disability Support Unit. This significant achievement ensures that students with disabilities at Makerere University will have better access to first-class education.

This milestone aligns with the Makerere University Endowment Fund's Strategic Plan 2021-2026, which seeks to improve the overall student experience at the university. Your generosity and commitment to this cause are helping us make our shared vision, of an inclusive learning environment, a reality.

We are also pleased to inform you that the Dean of Students will oversee the appropriate allocation of the funds raised, ensuring that they are used effectively to meet the needs of our students with disabilities.
