Sasha Nannyange
A passion for storytelling
My name is Sasha Nannyange, a 2022 graduate of the BSc. in Business Statistics attached to Complex Hall. My programme provided a foundation that surprisingly fueled my current career in communications. I have, from an early age, always had a deep passion for storytelling as a means to bring communities together. After graduation, my journey led me to join AirQo, a research initiative dedicated to fostering clean air in African cities, where I now work as a Communications Officer.

What captivates me most about the work I do is the profound impact it allows me to make in people's lives. Engaging with diverse communities, I find joy in gathering their perspectives and weaving these narratives into impactful stories. Makerere not only equipped me with knowledge in statistics but also instilled in me the power of effective communication, a skill that has become instrumental in my quest to contribute to a healthier and more connected society.
