Dear Makerere University Alumni, Staff and Friends,

As we approach the end of another eventful year, I am delighted to extend my warmest wishes to each and every one of you for a joyful and restful December holiday season.

As we prepare to close 2023, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to our faculty, staff, and students for their unwavering commitment to academic excellence, research, and community engagement. You are the driving force behind our continued success and specifically towards our research-led agenda.

The December holiday season is a time to reflect on our achievements, recharge our spirits, and spend quality time with family and friends. It is also a time to celebrate the diversity that makes Makerere University such a unique and vibrant institution. Whether you observe Christmas, Hanukkah, Eid, or any other holiday tradition, may this season bring you joy, love, and unity.
