These Terms and Conditions govern our website and any of our registered domains, mobile apps, or social media pages that post a link to these Terms (collectively, the โServicesโ).
By registering, you accept these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not register. We reserve the right to change these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on the website and will take effect immediately unless stated otherwise.
By registering, you agree to follow the rules and directions of the event and its organizers. Your consent is legally binding.
1. Entry Terms
- All fields in the official entry form must be completed and the entry fee paid in full.
- Participants must be physically fit and capable of completing their chosen race distance (5km, 10km, 21km, or 42km).
- All participants enter at their own risk. Organizers are not responsible for injury, illness, loss, or damage.
- Participants in 10km, 21km, and 42km must be 18 years or older.
- Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a responsible adult who agrees to the terms.
- No refunds will be given in case of cancellation or non-participation.
2. Participation Terms
- Participants agree to follow the guidelines from Athletics Uganda, World Athletics, and other relevant authorities.
- Participants are encouraged to have personal sports insurance.
- Participants are responsible for route familiarization, hydration, and pacing during the marathon.
- Participants must provide accurate contact details. The organizers are not responsible for errors or missing communication due to incorrect information.
- If results are not submitted on time, no digital certificate will be issued (for virtual runners).
- By registering, you grant permission for the use of your name, photos, video, and results for promotional purposes.
- Organizers may contact you before and after the event via SMS, email, or phone for event-related communication.
3. Code of Conduct
Participants are expected to behave respectfully and follow all event instructions. It is your responsibility to read the runnersโ guide, understand race formats, and comply with all published rules.
